UMaine soccer’s comeback falls quick as Campbell wins

The College of Maine’s soccer workforce had a second-half comeback that lowered a 21-point deficit to 6.

However an interception by Trevon Booker with 2:02 remaining enabled Campbell College to carry off the Black Bears 34-28 in a Coastal Athletic Affiliation recreation on Homecoming Day at Barker-Lane Stadium in Buies Creek, North Carolina on Saturday afternoon.

Campbell, in its first season within the CAA, improved to 4-3 total and 3-2 within the CAA whereas UMaine fell to 2-6 and 1-4.
