Cuellar’s chief of employees Jacob Hochberg launched an announcement Monday night time saying: “As Congressman Cuellar was parking his automotive this night, 3 armed assailants approached the Congressman and stole his automobile. Fortunately, he was not harmed and is working with native regulation enforcement.”
Hochberg mentioned police recovered Cuellar’s automobile.
The Washington Submit reported that the theft occurred in Washington’s Navy Yard space, a couple of mile from the U.S. Capitol.
In June, Kendrid Khalil Hamlin pleaded responsible in that case to costs of assaulting a member of Congress and assaulting regulation enforcement officers. Hamlin was additionally accused of assaulting two officers as they tried to arrest him on the day of Craig’s assault.
