Slugger the Sea Canine chosen for Mascot Corridor of Fame

Slugger the Sea Canine, the mascot of the Portland Sea Canines, has been chosen to be inducted into the Mascot Corridor of Fame.
The goofy mascot, who has already acquired “Biggest Group Affect” and “Finest In-Sport Skit or Routine” awards from the Mascot Corridor of Fame, will likely be inducted in a ceremony held on Aug. 12 in Indiana. He’s the primary minor league mascot to be chosen for the corridor, which already consists of 27 iconic mascots from throughout sports activities.
Slugger has been part of the staff since its inception in 1994. The staff, which is a Jap League Double-A affiliate of the Boston Pink Sox, is at the moment in its thirtieth season, and its first underneath non-local, company possession.
That is the third 12 months that Slugger has been entered as a participant within the Corridor of Fame’s induction survey. Out of 20 selections, followers voted to induct Slugger, together with Otto the Orange from Syracuse College.
The Mascot Corridor of Fame is in Whiting, Indiana, and in addition consists of an interactive youngsters’s museum.
