Pedestrian hospitalized after Brewer hit-and-run

A pedestrian was hospitalized on Saturday evening after a hit-and-run in Brewer.
The pedestrian, whom police haven’t publicly recognized, was hit about 8:30 p.m. by a silver Toyota, believed to be both a Camry or Avalon produced between 2020 and 2023, in accordance with the Brewer Police Division.
The driving force fled down Japanese Avenue towards Holden earlier than police arrived, the division mentioned Sunday.
The pedestrian was taken to an area hospital with severe accidents.
