Man will spend 5 years in jail for deadly Turner crash

A Poland man, who pleaded responsible to manslaughter, will serve 5 years in jail for inflicting a lethal crash in Turner final summer season.
Joshua Doughty, 39, was sentenced to 18 years in jail with 13 suspended, in line with the Solar Journal.
In August 2022, Doughty was driving a white 2020 Ford F350 pickup truck on Route 4 when he fell asleep, crossed the centerline and slammed right into a grey 2019 Kia Optima pushed by 59-year-old Holly Woods of Peru.
Woods died on the scene.
After his launch, Doughty will likely be on probation for 4 years and is barred from having any contact with Woods’ husband.
