“Good day, I’m Susan Deane and I’m operating for Bangor Metropolis Council.” These are phrases I’ve repeated quite a few instances since making the choice to run for Metropolis Council. This choice was made out of affection for my metropolis and its residents and for an opportunity to make a distinction.
I’ve encountered many great folks throughout my candidacy who all echo the identical sentiments: They wish to make Bangor a greater, safer and extra affluent metropolis, and so they wish to discover a answer to the ever rising variety of homeless in our metropolis. I imagine all of the candidates for Metropolis Council share this similar agenda.
I used to be made conscious of a destructive marketing campaign advert depicting myself and two of the opposite candidates in a approach that none of us would have put ahead. This advert, which I’m positive was meant to be supportive, did simply the other. I didn’t endorse this marketing campaign advert nor do I help it. My marketing campaign is constructed on positivity. My purpose is to unite the council, not divide it.
If elected I’d be honored to take a seat on the desk with any of the opposite candidates and present members. On this time of worldwide, nationwide and more moderen statewide trauma, we should present a united entrance and encourage therapeutic and compassion.
Susan Deane
