Driver fatally hits toddler who was mendacity within the street  

A toddler was killed Wednesday afternoon after being hit by a tow truck in Chelsea.

At about 2:23 p.m., Maine State Police troopers responded to Windsor Street for a report of a kid struck by a tow truck, Maine Division of Public Security spokesperson Shannon Moss stated in a press launch.

On the scene, they decided {that a} 62-year-old male driver from Chelsea was touring northbound on Windsor Street in his 2007 GMC flatbed tow truck when he struck a toddler.
