Downeast Salmon Federation holding open home

To have fun continued efforts to assist restore the legendary Atlantic salmon to extra sustainable ranges, the Downeast Salmon Federation this week is internet hosting an open home in Down East Maine.

The free occasion runs from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday on the federation’s facility in East Machias. Meals choices will embrace ice cream and regionally sourced smoked fish, whereas actions will embrace fly casting and fish conservation training.
