Bangor man arrested after allegedly throwing utility knife at somebody from automotive

A Bangor man was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with aggravated assault with a harmful weapon after police say he threw a knife at somebody from his automotive.
Richard Ramsdell, 48, allegedly threw a utility knife out of his car at an individual who was on the sidewalk, as he was driving down Major Avenue at about 2 p.m. Thursday.
The knife struck the sufferer within the head, inflicting them to fall to the bottom, based on Bangor Police. The sufferer was delivered to a neighborhood hospital for therapy.
Ramsdell was recognized as a result of he returned to the scene and talked to police. After he left, witnesses to the incident instructed investigators the person who simply left was the one who threw the knife.
Police discovered Ramsdell, arrested him and introduced him to Penobscot County Jail, the place he was charged with aggravated assault with a harmful weapon, a category B felony.
Police didn’t say whether or not Ramsdell knew the sufferer.
