Bangor man accused of fraudulently towing vehicles for revenue

A Bangor man was charged with theft Thursday evening for allegedly forcing individuals to pay giant “impound charges” after he towed their automobiles with out authorization, police stated Friday.
Bruce LiCausi Jr., 19, owns a towing firm in Alton known as All Towed Up. A number of Bangor residents reported to police that the corporate had towed their automobiles as a consequence of parking violations, however there was no request from regulation enforcement or property house owners authorizing the removals, in keeping with Detective Lt. The towing started in December 2022, police stated.
