Angus King will suggest Nirav Shah to go CDC

U.S. Sen. Angus King will suggest Nirav Shah to be the brand new chief of the U.S. Facilities for Illness Management and Prevention.

Nirav Shah, who was Maine’s CDC director and the face of the COVID-19 pandemic response within the state, is presently second in command on the U.S. CDC. He assumed that place in March.

The present CDC director, Rochelle Walensky, is leaving the company subsequent month.
