A Sept. 11 reminder of the America we all know

Always remember. These phrases, so usually mentioned in connection to the 9/11 assaults, reverberate because the U.S. marks the twenty second anniversary of that unforgettable, unfathomable day.

In reality, there may be little likelihood that many People would ever neglect what we witnessed and skilled 22 years in the past. Not the individuals who survived the horrors on the World Commerce Heart and the Pentagon. Not those that misplaced members of the family and pals there or within the fields of Pennsylvania. Not the primary responders who rushed to assist. Not these of us who watched horrified in our houses, school rooms and places of work. Not the hundreds of thousands of American navy members who served in Afghanistan and Iraq after the assaults.

Annually, we pause to recollect the almost 3,000 lives misplaced on Sept. 11, 2001. There was no scarcity of reflection on the significance of this anniversary and what it means to totally different individuals. In that spirit of remembrance, we determined as soon as once more to have a look again on the poignant phrases of George W. Bush, America’s president on that horrible day.
