Acadia Nationwide Park is without doubt one of the most well-known locations in Maine, and for good cause. It’s a spot crammed with pure magnificence. It boasts mountains of pink granite, pristine ponds, effervescent brooks, dramatic sea cliffs and one of many state’s sandiest seashores. Acadia is the outside fanatic’s dream, regardless of their talents or ability degree. 

The park options greater than 120 miles of mountain climbing trails and over 45 miles of easy, gravel, vehicle-free carriage roads. This path system is a murals, with big stone bridges, rock staircases, picket footbridges and historic cairns. And the surroundings can’t be beat.
